인천아트플랫폼은 2019년 9월 27일(금)부터 9월 29일(일)까지 '2019 오픈스튜디오'를 개최한다. '오픈스튜디오’는 인천아트플랫폼 레지던시 입주 예술가의 스튜디오를 개방하여 창작 과정과 결과를 시민, 예술계 관계자에게 선보이는 행사이다. 2019년은 인천아트플랫폼이 레지던시 프로그램을 운영한지 10번째 되는 해로, '2019 오픈스튜디오’ 에는 10기 입주 예술가 중 현재 인천아트플랫폼에서 활동 중인 21팀(25인)의 예술가가 참여한다. 오픈스튜디오가 진행되는 단 3일간, 21개의 스튜디오는 예술가가 능동적으로 자신의 작업을 소개하는 아티스트-런-스페이스 (Artist-run-space)로 운영된다. 신작이나 미공개작과 함께 작업의 의도와 작업과정에 대한 이해를 돕는 다양한 자료가 함께 공개되어 작품을 보다 다층적인 방식으로 감상할 수 있는 자리가 마련된다. 입주 예술가 각각이 특정 시간과 공간, 경험을 예술적으로 전유한 경과는 전시, 공연, 퍼포먼스 등 다양한 형태로 관람객과 공유될 것이다. 오픈스튜디오 기간 중 관람객은 누구나 예술가의 작업실을 방문하고 개별 스튜디오에서 진행되는 다양한 프로그램에 참여하며 예술과 가까워질 수 있다.
Incheon Art Platform holds '2019 OPEN STUDIO' from Sep. 27, Fri to 29, Sun. 'OPEN STUDIO' is the event that opens studio of the resident artists of Incheon Art Platform and presents their creation processes and the results they have produced to the citizens and artistic community. The year of 2019 is the 10th year since Incheon Art Platfrom started running artist-in residence program, and 21 teams (25 artists) from the 10th Artist-in-Residence program's participants take part in '2019 OPEN STUDIO.' For 3 days, 21 studios will be operated as Artist-run space in which artists actively introduce their works. Along with those new works and unpublished works, they will also share various materials that help to understand the artist's intention and working process. So, we can appreciate their works in multi layerd ways. The process of each resident artist artistically passing through certain time, space and experience will be shared with the audience in diverse ways such as exhibition, performance and events. During 'OPEN STUDIO', the audience can freely visit artists' studios and participate in many programs held in each studio and get closer to arts.
